Carly Lewis is a journalist living in Toronto. 

Her work has appeared at The New York Times, Vanity Fair, New York Magazine, Wired, Vulture, The Cut, The Atlantic, Elle, The Globe and Mail, The Walrus, The Guardian, Interview Magazine, The Fader, Pitchfork, the Toronto Star, Hazlitt, Spin, Maisonneuve and Maclean's. 

Her work has been recognized by the National Magazine Awards and Digital Publishing Awards.

In 2023 she received the Dave Greber Magazine Writing Award for “The Murder of Ashley Wadsworth.”

In 2024 her essay “A Flare Amidst the Rubble” won a Silver Digital Publishing Award in the Arts and Culture category.
